Your menu, your hours

Your menu, your hours, changed by you.

We load the menu the first time. After that, a price goes up, the wors runs out at seven, you start opening on Sundays, and none of it needs an email to anybody.

The menu editor

Sections, and items inside them. Each item has a name, a price, a description if you want one, and a photo if you have one. Changes show on your ordering page the moment you save.

  • Sold out, in one tap

“Mark sold out” on the item. It stays on the menu, greyed and labelled, and cannot be ordered until you tap “Back in stock”. The same switch exists on every single choice, so you can run out of the half portion and still sell the quarter.

  • Hide a whole section

Breakfast, hidden at eleven and shown again tomorrow, without deleting anything.

  • Photos, made light for a phone

Whatever you upload is re-encoded and shrunk to what a phone needs, so your menu stays fast on a small data bundle.

  • Orders already placed do not change

An order keeps the name and price as they were when it was placed. Renaming a dish or putting the price up tonight does not touch what is already on the board.

Sizes, extras and choices

A size is just a group of choices where the customer must pick one. Extras are a group where they may pick a few. You decide how many, and the page tells the customer in the words shown here.

Choices for Braai chicken

  • Portion · Choose one Required

    Quarter, Half (+R40)

  • Sauce · Choose one, or none

    Mild, Medium, Hot

  • Extras · Choose up to 3

Extra chips (+R15), Chakalaka (+R12), Extra roll (+R6)

Opening hours and collection times

You set the hours. The ordering page works out the collection times from them, and follows the moment you save.

  • Your usual week

Each day, open and close. A day with nothing listed is closed. Two rows for a day you shut in the afternoon, and a kitchen that closes after midnight is understood.

  • One-off days

A public holiday, a stocktake, a funeral: one date, closed or short hours, with a reason if you want one. Your usual week comes back by itself afterwards.

  • Preparation time

The earliest collection time offered is now plus your preparation time, rounded up to the next slot. New restaurants start at 20 minutes; change it on a busy night.

  • The grid

Times are offered every 15 minutes, up to 6 days ahead. You can change the gap between slots.

Who can change what

The menu, the hours and the sales figures are for the owner and the manager. A staff login sees the orders board and the pause switch, and nothing on this page.

Settings, your logo and colour, your VAT details and the list of people with a login are the owner’s alone. The whole ladder is spelled out on How it works.

All of it for one monthly fee, in rand.

No commission, no setup fee, no contract.
